Scorpio Full Moon Ritual - Release & Rebirth - Tuesday 13th May, AEST

On this Scorpio Full Moon, emotions run deep, shadows surface, and the truth can no longer be ignored. Scorpio is the sign of intensity, transformation, and rebirth. When the Moon is full in this water sign, we’re asked to let go of emotional baggage, confront what's hidden beneath the surface, and rise stronger—like a phoenix from the ashes. The energy is ripe for transformation. Whatever you’re ready to release—do it with intention, and know something better is waiting to be born.

Ritual: Shadow Release & Soul Rebirth

Best done: The night of the Full Moon or within 2 days after.

You’ll need:

A black or white candle (for transformation and protection)

A bowl of water or a salt bath (Scorpio is a water sign)

Pen and paper

Optional: crystals like obsidian, black tourmaline, or amethyst

Optional: herbs like rosemary, mugwort, or lavender for smoke cleansing

1. Cleanse Your Space & Energy
Burn herbs or use smoke-free cleansing like sound (chimes or clapping), or even a saltwater spray. Set the intention to release stagnant energy.

2. Set the Mood
Light your candle. Sit quietly. Take a few deep breaths. Feel the energy of the full moon—even indoors. Scorpio encourages stillness and introspection.

3. Shadow Writing (Journaling)
On your paper, write down anything you are ready to release:

Fears

Old emotional wounds

Toxic patterns

Limiting beliefs

Energetic attachments

Start your sentences with:
“I release…” or “I am ready to let go of…”

4. Water Element Activation
Hold your paper near the bowl of water or while soaking in a bath. Water is Scorpio’s element—it helps you surrender and cleanse. Visualize the energy of what you wrote being absorbed and neutralized by the water.

5. Burn or Tear
If safe, carefully burn your list (in a fire-safe dish), or tear it into small pieces and flush it or discard with intention. Say aloud:
"I release what no longer serves me. I rise renewed and transformed."

6. Close with Gratitude
Take a few breaths and say thank you—to yourself, to the Moon, to your guides. Blow out your candle, imagining your burdens dissolving with the smoke.
