Protection Candle

This Candle has been crafted for workings focused on spiritual defence, boundary setting, banishing unwanted influences, and reinforcing your personal power. Protection magick is about repelling, severing, and preventing what does not belong.

Each candle is individually hand rolled, with a white inner layer symbolising purification, clarity, and the preservation of your spirit, while the black outer layer represents absorption, banishment and the creation of a strong protective barrier.

Within the candle are layers of traditional protective correspondences, including hyssop, rue, and stinging nettle, alongside the consecrated ash of a burnt bay leaf bearing a protective sigil. The candle is further dressed with Saturn and Mars ritual oils to unite Saturn’s protective boundaries, discipline, and banishing qualities with Mars’ strength and defensive force. A touch of frankincense essential oil completes the working, bringing spiritual purification and blessing, before the candle is finished with consecrated red thread wrapped around the base as an additional symbolic layer of protection and empowerment.

Use this candle during protection rituals, uncrossing work, after difficult interactions, when establishing energetic boundaries, before spirit work, after cleansing your home or sacred space, during spellwork or whenever you feel the need to reinforce your spiritual defences. It may also be incorporated into warding rites, or regular maintenance rituals to strengthen the energetic boundaries around yourself, your home, or your altar.
